About the Role The QC Laboratory Technician will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of the company’s products. This hands-on role involves conducting quality control tests, analysing results, and collaborating with production teams to maintain the highest standards of product integrity. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Maintain accurate records of test results and generate detailed quality reports. Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods as needed. Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to investigate and resolve quality issues. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the laboratory. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department. Key Skills and Experience Previous experience in a QC or laboratory-based role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing methods. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in recording and interpreting test data. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively across departments. Familiarity with health and safety standards in a laboratory setting. Qualifications A degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
