An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Highly Motivated, Production Team Leader to join a large manufacturing company located in Derby. This position will be working Days Based, Monday to Thursday supporting the Production Manager with all aspects of daily manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.\\n\\nCompany Information\\n\\nLocated in Derby with businesses throughout the UK my client is a collection of businesses specialising in manufactured products supplied into a wide range of industries. My client has developed trusted brands and capabilities either through acquisition or organic growth and is now looking to recruit two new Production Team Leaders to join the management team.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nYou will be manging a team of 10-20 employees with full accountability of daily performance including KPI deliverables.\\nYou will be responsible for making key production decisions in the absence of the Production manager.\\nYou will have responsibility of all areas of the production facility and give clear and consistent information to other team members.\\nYou will monitor and support new team members and help to identify training and development.\\nSupport the production team in completing production tasks and deliver shift handover process including all shift reporting documentation.\\nWork closely with the Quality team to manage any product defects including implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions.\\nMonitor and manage absence and lateness levels, disciplinary matters, holiday allocation and sickness cover.

\\n\\nKey Requirements\\n\\nTo apply for Production Team Leader position in Derby you will ideally have 5+ years Team Leader or Supervisory experience with the ability to drive manufacturing improvements. Additionally, you will need to hold a IOSH or NEBOSH qualification and possess some knowledge or experience within one of the following sectors: manufacturing, food, chemical or fast paced working environment.\\n\\nOther Requirements\\n\\nStrong influencer who can effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation.\\nStrong leadership skills and focussed on training & development of production employees.\\nAbility to work in a manufacturing industry and the pressures associated with high volume manufacturing.\\nForward thinking and pro-active approach\\nPositive and professional attitude with the ability to motivate a team.\\nKnowledge of risk assessment procedures.\\nExcellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, word, PowerPoint).\\nExcellent planning and organisational skills. \\n\\nKey Benefits Package\\n\\nDays Based working Monday to Thursday (Fridays Off).\\nSalary £30,000 to £37,000.\\nContributory Pension Scheme.\\nFree on-site parking.\\nExcellent working environment.\\nSubsidised Gym Membership.\\nEmployee Assistance Programme.\\nTraining and Development Programmes.
