Job Title: Pharmacy Manager Location: Sudbury, UK Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary; Up to £33ph bonus (36 hours per week) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead the in-store pharmacy within a busy supermarket setting in Sudbury. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring safe and efficient pharmacy operations, and driving commercial performance while maintaining regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Clinical & Patient Care Provide professional pharmacy services, including dispensing prescriptions and offering healthcare advice Deliver clinical services such as vaccinations, medication reviews, and health screenings Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times Promote healthy living and wellbeing initiatives within the local community Leadership & Team Management Lead, motivate, and develop the pharmacy team Manage staff rotas, training, and performance reviews Foster a positive, customer-focused team culture Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and all relevant pharmacy regulations Maintain accurate records and safe handling of medicines Oversee stock control, ordering, and waste management Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently within company policies and procedures Commercial & Customer Focus Drive pharmacy sales and services to meet business targets Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers Identify opportunities to grow pharmacy services within the supermarket Requirements Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Proven experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting Previous management or leadership experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Staff discount and benefits package Ongoing training and professional development
