A growing omni-channel retailer in the outdoor leisure sector is looking for an Assistant Category Buyer to join its commercial team.
Working closely with the Category Buyer, you'll support range management, supplier relationships, stock optimisation, promotions and commercial analysis, with a clear path to progress into a full Category Buyer role.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting category sales, margin and stock targets
- Analysing sales, stock, margin and market trends
- Supporting new product launches and range reviews
- Building supplier and brand relationships
- Managing purchase orders and seasonal buying
- Reporting and commercial insight via Power BI/ERP
What we're looking for
- Experience in retail, buying, merchandising or supply chain
- Strong analytical skills and Excel confidence
- Organised, with the ability to juggle priorities
- Interest in the outdoor sector is a plus
