Management Accountant

We are recruiting for a suitably experienced Management Accountant for an established Accountancy Practice based in North London.

It is essential that you have previous experience working for an Accountancy Practice, as a Management Accountant, managing a portfolio of SME accounts.

You will be managing a variety of client accounts in a team environment.

Location: North London – onsite Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management
• Review the work of bookkeepers ensuring tasks are completed accurately
• Problem Solving
• Continuous improvement, ensuring best practices are met.

Key Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working as a Management Accountant for an Accountancy Practice
• Experienced with cloud-based accounting platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of Xero, Dext or similar
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles and financial accounting is essential.
• Ability to bring accounts up to trial balance and understand reconciliation
• Ability to proactively spot discrepancies in P&L and balance sheets
• Excellent communication skills, ability to build client relationships
• Team Player
