This senior leadership role offers full accountability for site engineering operations, capital projects, and longâterm engineering strategy within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Lead all engineering and maintenance activities on site, ensuring equipment reliability, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
- As a key member of the Site Leadership Team you will shape the future technical direction of the business while driving operational excellence and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all site engineering, maintenance, utilities and capital investment activities.
- Develop and implement engineering strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee CMMS, TPM and advanced maintenance methodologies.
- Deliver capital projects including equipment upgrades, facility improvements and expansions.
- Drive continuous improvement, reliability engineering and process optimisation.
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, H&S and statutory regulations.
- Manage engineering budgets, assets and external contractors.
- Build, develop and lead a highâperforming engineering team.
- Act on recommendations from audits, suppliers and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute strategically as a core member of the Site Leadership Team.
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC/HND in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) desirable.
Experience
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role within manufacturing.
- Strong background in maintenance strategy, capital projects and asset management.
- Experience working in regulated environments (GMP, food, pharma, FMCG or similar).
- Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and costâreduction initiatives.
