I'm currently working with a client based in Lichfield who is looking to appoint a Senior Buyer to join their close-knit procurement team during an exciting period of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that genuinely values its people and is investing in its future.
As part of a small but growing procurement function, you'll take ownership of day-to-day procurement activities, covering both operational and strategic procurement. You'll play a key role in supplier management, risk mitigation, and managing spend across both existing and new programmes.
This isn't your typical Senior Buyer role. It's a varied position that requires someone who is comfortable switching between operational purchasing and strategic procurement activities. You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while continuing to develop your career within a growing organisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a direct procurement environment and be confident reading and interpreting technical/engineering drawings. You'll be a proactive, hands-on procurement professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The package includes:
- Salary of circa £45,000-£50,000 plus benefits.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
- 5 days per week on-site in Lichfield.
