As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will join an established Accounting & Business Advisory team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services, building strong client relationships, and supporting businesses with their financial reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering a high standard of service
  • Prepare statutory financial statements for a range of business entities
  • Produce accurate and timely management accounts
  • Prepare personal tax returns
  • Assist with the preparation of P11Ds
  • Attend client meetings and build relationships with directors and business owners
  • Support audit assignments where required (desirable)
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
  • Assist with general accountancy and administrative duties as required
About You
  • AAT qualified and/or currently studying towards ACA or ACCA
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice
  • Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of Iris would be advantageous
  • Strong technical accounting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to continue developing professionally
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
