You must have full UK right to work without sponsorship. We're looking for candidates within an easy commute of Edenbridge, with hybrid working available.
We're looking for a proactive Buyer to take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships and inventory availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your background could be in Purchasing, Supply Planning, Materials, Inventory or Supply Chain, what matters is strong supplier engagement, commercial awareness and a track record of improving availability, performance and service.

Key Responsibilities
- Raise, manage and expedite purchase orders.
- Build strong supplier relationships and resolve delivery, quality and invoice issues.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive service improvements.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial agreements.
- Maintain inventory levels while managing stock value.
- Produce purchasing and performance reports using Excel.
- Maintain accurate supplier and product data within ERP/MRP systems.
- Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the sourcing and onboarding of new suppliers.
About You
- Experience within Purchasing, Procurement, Buying, Supply Chain or planning.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational environment.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Business Central advantageous).
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills.
