Corporate Legal Counsel

The Role

We’re looking for a generalist commercial lawyer (2–5 PQE) to join the in-house legal team. The role is a real mix of fast-paced, hands-on commercial work — perfect for someone who likes to get stuck in and enjoys variety.

Day-to-day:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

• Working closely with stakeholders in sales, ops, and procurement

• Handling high-volume, time-sensitive contracts — pace is important

• Some exposure to tech/SaaS contracts would be helpful

• Pragmatic, business-friendly legal support across a range of topics

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years PQE – jurisdiction flexible

• In-house experience essential, ideally in a small legal team

• Strong grounding in UK commercial contracts

• Comfortable at pace – there’s a decent volume and speed required

• Bonus points for:

o SaaS/technology contracts

o B2B industry experience with physical stock or operations

Logistics

• 1 day per week in the Leeds office

• Salary: £65–70k + 10% bonus + good benefits
