Junior Buyer / Buyer Halifax W Talent are delighted to be supporting a number of business in the Halifax, Huddersfield and Bradford area. One such client is looking for a Purchasing specialist to join their team, based in Halifax. This role supports day-to-day procurement, supplier management, and order fulfilment, ensuring smooth operations across departments. Key Responsibilities: Assist with purchasing operations, supplier identification & negotiations Raise and manage purchase orders, RFQs & supplier communications Maintain purchasing records and analyse MRP reports Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless order fulfilment What We're Looking For: Previous experience of purchasing is essential Experience of a manufacturing environment is highly desirable Strong communication & organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Key Points: On Site A generous holiday package and other useful benefits Clear opportunity for progression If you are within a daily commutable distance to Halifax and do not require any sponsorship to work in the UK, we'd love to hear from you
