W Talent is working in partnership with a large manufacturing company to recruit a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Advisor to join their Customer Service team in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some prior experience in internal sales, customer service, account support or B2B sales who is looking to develop their career within a commercial environment.

Working Monday to Friday, days-based at the headquarters in Boston, you will join the Customer Service and Sales team, where you will play a key role in building customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and supporting the growth of existing accounts. You will enjoy speaking with customers, understanding their requirements and helping to provide the right solutions, while delivering an excellent level of customer service.

The Role - Sales Advisor

  • Building strong relationships with customers and identifying opportunities to support account growth.
  • Working closely with Account Managers to develop and deliver customer growth plans.
  • Proactively contacting customers to generate new business opportunities and discuss purchasing trends.
  • Managing inbound customer calls, enquiries and orders efficiently while identifying additional sales opportunities.
  • Investigating and resolving customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met regarding stock availability, deliveries and order fulfilment.
  • Promoting products, services, promotions and value-added solutions to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Monitoring sales performance, customer activity and product trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Using CRM systems to manage customer relationships, sales activity, opportunities and follow-up actions.
  • Analysing sales and operational data to support commercial decision-making and improve performance.
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your sales, product and commercial knowledge.

Key Requirements

My client is looking for someone who is commercially minded, proactive and enjoys building strong relationships with customers. You will ideally have experience within internal sales, customer service, account management or B2B sales. A passion for building customer relationships and identifying sales opportunities, combined with strong communication skills and the confidence to engage and influence customers, would be highly advantageous.

Salary & Benefits

The successful Sales Advisor will receive a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. The role is based in Boston, Lincolnshire, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, days-based. You will also have the opportunity to develop your career within a growing sales and commercial environment, with ongoing training and development provided.
