You will support the Warehouse Manager in leading day-to-day warehouse operations, supervising a team of warehouse operatives, and ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of goods from receipt through to dispatch. The role is responsible for maintaining high operational standards while taking a hands-on approach and working alongside the team when required.

Key Requirements
  • Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, ideally in a supervisory or team leader role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to work alongside the team during operational peaks or when required
  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety practices within a warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using IT systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing operational demands
  • Experience in a technical or engineering-related product environment (e.g. heating, cooling, renewable energy, or electrical equipment)
  • Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH preferred)
  • Forklift licence or experience operating material handling equipment (MHE)

Salary & Benefits: Rotating shift pattern (6:00am - 10:00pm coverage)
