The FUN CUP Technical Engineer will be in charge of the technical support on track and in the workshop. We are looking for a full-time employee.
The duties of the FUN CUP Technical Engineer will include:
- Organisation of the engine and gearbox department.
- Technical developments and improvements on cars, systems and parts.
- Organise testing of new parts and systems.
- Prepare technical documentation and assembly procedures.
- Work in close collaboration with organisers and RACB for homologation and technical regulations.
- In charge of quality management of parts and cars.
- Improve overall quality for cars and parts.
- Improve car assembly efficiency.
- Collaborate with the different departments (production, purchase and parts support).
The FUN CUP Technical Engineer should have the following desired skillset:
- Engineering degree and experience in a similar role for at least three years, ideally in motorsport.
- Good knowledge of cars systems and parts.
- Expertise in mechanical design, electricity, electronics systems and software.
- Knowledge of various software: Modas, Modas Sport, Race Studio, Pi tool.
- Knowledge of CAD software (ideally Creo).
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Accuracy and precision in all written communication.
- Ability to manage and motivate staff through periods of change.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and delegate effectively.
- Must be able to work flexibly, as determined by business requirements, this involves travelling to race circuits.
- This position involves working weekends depending on the needs of the business.
- Experience in vehicle diagnostics.
