Dispatch Operative

Location: Ryde, Isle of Wight

Hours: 36 hours per week (8am - 4.30pm, Monday - Thursday, 8am - 12noon Friday)
\n
Days: Monday - Friday
\n
Duration: 3 month fixed term contract, may be extended to permanent role for the right candidate
\n
Duties:
\n
Inspection of goods to be dispatched, checking certifications and creating packing labels for dispatched items
\n
Packing and loading of shipments, Operating forklift.
\n
Updating computer system with dispatch status
\n
Scanning documentation to electronic archives
\n
Updating internal documentation including procedures.
\n
Experience:
\n
Must have previous warehouse experience including use of computerized stock control systems.
\n
Previous forklift operation and a valid license is an advantage.
\n
Must have good attention to detail with the ability to multitask accurately, plus be able to work well on own initiative, to instruction and schedules.
\n
Must have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
\n
Salary: £15.44 per hour worked plus 10% shift premium
