Duties:
- Supporting the Production Manager in day to day manufacturing operations
- Overseeing production scheduling for a team of approx. 10 staff, allocation of work and monitoring performance
- Reading CAD drawings, working to customer specifications, identifying discrepancies and communicating with the design team
- Managing and requesting materials and stock
- Ensuring adherence to quality and health and safety standards
Experience:
- Must have a good level of previous experience within either a mechanical or engineering background including a good technical aptitude and the ability to read drawings
- Must have previous supervisory experience and be able to lead as well as work as part of a wider team
- Must have good organisational capabilities and strong communication skills
Salary: up to £28,000 per annum, dependent upon experience
