Production Operatives (Electronics)

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Calbourne & Newport

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working between 6.30am and 5pm)

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: initial 4 week trial, may then be extended to 12 weeks and potentially temp to perm for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Electronic and mechanical assembly, using a variety of plastic components and connectors, printed circuit boards and cables.
  • May be required to solder.
  • Use hand and small power tools.
  • Work to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards.
  • Adhere to health & safety.

Qualifications

  • Good level of previous electronics assembly experience; soldering experience an advantage.
  • Experience within aerospace or automotive industries preferred.
  • Experience of SMT an advantage.
  • Good attention to detail, manual dexterity and high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.

Salary

£12.71 per hour worked
