Production Operatives (Electronics)
Industry: Manufacturing
Location: Calbourne & Newport
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working between 6.30am and 5pm)
Days: Monday - Friday
Duration: initial 4 week trial, may then be extended to 12 weeks and potentially temp to perm for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Electronic and mechanical assembly, using a variety of plastic components and connectors, printed circuit boards and cables.
- May be required to solder.
- Use hand and small power tools.
- Work to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards.
- Adhere to health & safety.
Qualifications
- Good level of previous electronics assembly experience; soldering experience an advantage.
- Experience within aerospace or automotive industries preferred.
- Experience of SMT an advantage.
- Good attention to detail, manual dexterity and high-quality standards.
- Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
