Duties:
- Supporting manufacturing by optimising material usage and minimising production costs without compromising product quality.
- Responsible for defining, documenting and implementing best practice across the production process.
- Investigating root cause of product quality failures.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety and environmental regulations whilst promoting a safe and compliant working environment.
- Involvement in the entire product cycle including new product introductions and change management, whilst maintaining all critical to quality characteristics.
Experience:
- Must have proven managerial experience within a manufacturing environment including delivery of process improvements, root cause investigations, and an understanding of epoxy resins.
- Must have Chemical, Scientific or Engineering based qualifications to a minimum of HNC level plus Green Belt Six Sigma (or equivalent).
- Must have excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions within a pressurised environment.
