Traffic Management Operative

Civil Engineering

Dayshift: 7.30am - 4.30pm / Nightshift (may be required on occasion): 7.30pm - 4.00am

Days: Monday - Friday

Temporary ongoing (possible Temp to Perm role for the right candidate)

  • Working to traffic management plans and schedules in addition to highways and health and safety regulations
  • Manual handling, loading and unloading vehicles
  • Driving, delivery and collection of signs, lights and equipment
  • Communication with supervisory staff, Highways Operatives and the public

Must be physically fit due to manual handling tasks; previous Highways experience and SWQR certification is an advantage but training can be provided.

Must have a full driver’s licence.

Must be flexible and reliable with an awareness of health and safety.

Salary: Dayshift: £12.71 per hour worked, rates increase after 12 weeks (nightshift paid at 1.33, overtime paid at 1.5)
