Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week: 13.30 - 22.00

Days: 5 days from 7 on a rota basis (including weekends with 2 consecutive days off in the week)

Duration: Temporary Ongoing

Duties:

  • Vehicle checks and reporting maintenance
  • Emptying public rubbish bins including dog waste
  • Manual handling and working to schedules/routes
  • Litter picking
  • Clearing pavements, paths, drains and gullies of green waste
  • Weed removal
  • Gum and graffiti removal
  • Adherence to health and safety and highways regulations

Experience:

  • Must have full clean driver’s license with a good knowledge of Island road network and awareness of health and safety
  • Must be physically fit due to nature of duties and be able to undertake manual handling
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative, outside, in all weathers

Salary: £12.71 per hour worked 13.30 - 18.00, 18.30 - 22.00 £16.90 per hour worked.
