Duties:
- Vehicle checks and reporting maintenance
- Emptying public rubbish bins including dog waste
- Manual handling and working to schedules/routes
- Litter picking
- Clearing pavements, paths, drains and gullies of green waste
- Weed removal
- Gum and graffiti removal
- Adherence to health and safety and highways regulations
Experience:
- Must have full clean driver’s license with a good knowledge of Island road network and awareness of health and safety
- Must be physically fit due to nature of duties and be able to undertake manual handling
- Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative, outside, in all weathers
Salary: £12.71 per hour worked 13.30 - 18.00, 18.30 - 22.00 £16.90 per hour worked.
