Hours: 30 - 48 hours per week on rota basis (wk1: 4pm - 7pm Fri, 6am - 6pm Sat & Sun, 4pm - 7pm Mon. wk2: 6pm-6am Fri - Mon)

Days: Friday - Monday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

  • Undertake regular site patrols and maintain internal security of offices and factory.
  • Manage control room, maintain external security of plant and equipment with the aid of CCTV.
  • Maintain fire safety, undertake tests, inspection and report incidents.
  • Manage and test site fire and security systems.
  • Conduct immediate response investigations, escalate where necessary and create incident reports.
  • Issue and receive temporary ID/ visitor badges and company vehicles.
  • Receive and supervise contractors, checking permits for work.
  • Drive company mini bus, undertake vehicle checks and report maintenance.

Experience:

  • Must have a good understanding of health and safety including knowledge of fire safety and first aid.
  • Previous security experience is an advantage.
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team and on own initiative with high level attention to detail.
  • Must be able to remain calm during high pressure situations with excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a good level of computer literacy, be methodical, reliable and consistent.
  • Must have a full drivers license and be flexible with working hours.
