Location: Newport
Hours: 10-15 hours per week (dependent upon experience)
Days: 2-3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)
Duration: Temp to Perm (may be Permanent from the outset for the right candidate)
Duties:
- Property Management Administration: Issue and maintain tenant contracts, issue rental invoices. Communicate with tenants over any issues or maintenance requests, liaise with contractors and organise building cleaning, maintenance and safety checks, manage utilities contracts and buildings insurance, order and stock control of sundries, process and pay supplier invoices.
- Architectural Administration: First point of contact, telephonist duties, email and written correspondence, booking appointments and diary management, maintain project files and archive, order and stock control of office supplies, process and pay supplier invoices, raise and issue client invoices, manage business insurance.
- May also include, dependent upon experience: Format drawings for client/contractor distribution, research and use of online portals, assist in planning applications, producing supporting documentation including Planning and Heritage Statements, Flood Risk Assessments etc., assist on site visits and surveys.
Experience:
Must have a good level of administrative experience with strong communication and organisational skills plus good initiative, previous experience of architecture or planning and knowledge of building regulations is a distinct advantage. Must have a good level of computer literacy on MS Office with the ability to learn new software, experience of Drawing Express is an advantage. Flexibility with duties and willingness to learn is desirable.
Salary: £13.50 - 15.00 per hour dependent upon experience
