Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight

Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday, 8am - 2pm Friday

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: temporary, immediate start, during busy peak of work, whilst recruiting permanently

Duties:

  • Working within a composite manufacturing environment on new build marine vessels including preparation of moulds
  • Wet and dry hand lay up laminating
  • Vacuum bagging
  • Operation of machinery
  • Trimming, finishing, sanding and grinding
  • Operation of power tools
  • Working to quality standards, schedules and health and safety regulations

Experience:

  • Must have previous composite manufacturing experience in both wet and dry lay up plus finishing
  • Marine sector experience is an advantage
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative, to instructions
  • Must be physically fit due to the manual nature of tasks and available immediately

Salary: £15.00 per hour worked
