Job Description
Administrator
\nIndustry: Local Authority
\nLocation: Newport, Isle of Wight
\nHours: 37 hours per week (8.30am - 5pm)
\nDays: Monday - Friday
\nDuration: approx. 12 weeks (whilst recruiting permanently)
\nDuties:
\nProviding full administrative support functions to Safeguarding Team including:
\nOrganising, attending and recording/minuting sensitive meetings containing complex and confidential information.
\nEnsuring meetings have the correct set-up, equipment and follow-up.
\nProviding accurate word processing services including letters and reports.
\nUpdating and maintaining databases, including saving and scanning records, collating paper files from a variety of locations.
\nSupporting financial and procurement functions.
\nExperience:
\nMust have a strong administrative experience within a fast paced environment, including minuting meetings and be able to prioritise workload in addition to processing confidential and sensitive information accurately.
\nMust be able to work well on own initiative, as well as part of a team, within a pressurised environment, to deadlines.
\nMust have excellent communication skills and a high level of computer literacy on MS Office, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
\nMust have recent DBS (within the last 12 months or part of the update service) .
\nSalary: £13.26 per hour worked
