W M Donald Ltd requires an experienced HGV to support our civil engineering operations across Inverness & Highlands.
About the Role
As an HGV Driver, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, cost-effective and customer-focused service. You will be responsible for the safe operation of vehicles and associated plant, ensuring materials and equipment are transported securely and in compliance with legal and company requirements. This is a site-based role involving varied, non-routine operations across our operational area.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely carry out loading and unloading activities
- Ensure all loads are secure and within legal weight limits
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and routine inspections
- Report defects, faults, or safety concerns promptly
- Operate vehicles and plant safely and in line with legislation and site rules
- Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation
- Support site teams and work collaboratively with colleagues
