About the Role

As an HGV Jetting & Drainage Operative, you will play a key role in delivering an efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused service. You will be responsible for operating specialist drainage and jetting equipment, carrying out drainage investigations and maintenance works, and ensuring the safe operation of HGV vehicles and associated plant across our operational area. This is a site-based role involving varied, non-routine operations on private and public land.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles and associated plant
  • Carry out high-pressure water jetting and drainage operations
  • Assist with CCTV drainage and sewer surveys
  • Undertake fault finding and identify drainage issues
  • Interpret survey findings and assist with preparation of condition reports
  • Conduct daily vehicle, plant, and equipment inspections
  • Ensure all jobs and associated documentation are completed accurately
  • Maintain vehicles, equipment, and work areas in a clean and serviceable condition
  • Operate in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and company procedures
  • Support other site teams and undertake ad-hoc duties when required

Requirements

  • HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 Licence
  • Driver CPC
  • High Pressure Water Jetting Certificate
  • CSCS Card
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet company deadlines
