ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Engineering is a key member of the hotel leadership team, reporting to the General Manager and safeguarding the property\’s assets and operational resilience. This role oversees infrastructure, plant systems, and life-safety compliance to uphold the brand\’s promise of luxury and excellence. Beyond technical expertise, the Director drives long-term asset protection, sustainability, and capital projects that enhance guest experience and owner value. Partnering with Rooms, F&B, and Finance, they deliver integrated solutions that optimize performance and reduce risk. Combining commercial acumen with technical mastery, this leader fosters a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement. As a trusted advisor, they influence strategic decisions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure every initiative aligns with brand standards-maintaining and elevating the property for the future.
