We are currently looking for Manufacturing Operators to join our team in the Performance Solutions Division in Dundee, Scotland. As a Manufacturing Operator you will be assembling and/or inspecting cable assemblies and harnesses, and may require working in a cleanroom environment. Standard hours are 8am – 5pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8am – 1pm (Friday). This role may also involve shift work.
Responsibilities
- Learn, support, and practice Gore culture

- Follow area environmental safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment while working with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) and Engineering
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Perform quality inspection and testing
- Perform detailed and accurate record keeping for process documentation and data collection
- Crosstrain in the long term in various other manufacturing areas
- Utilize our quality system to ensure our process delivers products that meet customer needs and expectations that adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and International Standards Organization
- Partner with cross functional teams to meet production goals
- Support occasional overtime and flex shift schedule as needed
Required Qualifications
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Experience running simple mechanical equipment
- Basic computer skills with ability to learn more advanced systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, including providing and responding to feedback
- Demonstrated attention to detail while making product quality decisions, adhering to SOPs and written work instructions
- Ability to lift 35 lbs., bend, and inspect for the entire shift
- Adapt to production schedule changes with the ability to work overtime
Desired Qualifications
- One year manufacturing assembly experience of small parts
- Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and/or SAP Systems
- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement ideas
