This key role supports the development, manufacturing, and sale of products globally. You will collaborate with current specialists to support global teams in executing, initiating, developing, and implementing operational and business processes to assess and manage risks, ensuring our products comply with legal and industry standards. The focus will be on Europe, supporting our Aerospace, Defense, and Automotive markets. This position is based at our facilities in Dundee or Livingston, UK, with potential for hybrid work arrangements depending on role responsibilities and business needs. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain understanding of global chemical regulations and industry/customer requirements Understand raw materials and components used in manufacturing to ensure compliance Assess suppliers through compliance documentation review and engagement Collaborate with supply chain, quality, sales, and technical teams Manage data collection, entry, and analysis Execute processes like supplier surveys and product content management (e.g., IMDS, ChemSherpa) Prepare compliance documentation, declarations, and safety information Review and improve process documentation Identify opportunities to enhance data collection processes Required Qualifications: BSc in Biology, Toxicology, Chemistry, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing tasks Attention to detail and adherence to instructions Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, pivot tables, etc.) Understanding of risk management principles Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to prepare reports and maintain processes Self-motivated team player Willingness to travel 10-20%, including potential longer stays abroad for training Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of management systems (ISO14001, 45001), PLM, ERP (SAP) Regulatory knowledge in aerospace, defense, automotive markets German language skills Remote work is permitted with approval and compliance with Gore’s policies.
