About The Role
Reporting to the W Lounge Manager, the W Lounge Bartender will assist in the daily operation of the bar, ensuring the bar team works together to provide exceptional service to our guests. Joining the pre-opening team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurant’s opening and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest level of personalized service to our guests
- Prepare drink orders for guests, including bespoke W Hotels cocktails
- Issue, open and serve wine and champagne
- Assist the W Lounge floor team during peak periods when required
- Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar and tables
- Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
- Stock ice, glassware and paper supplies
- Transport supplies to bar set‑up areas
- Wash glassware
- Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
- Process all payment methods
- Secure liquors, beers, wine, coolers, cabinets and storage areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in high‑end, high‑volume restaurants and/or bars
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to create memorable experiences for guests
- A positive mindset
- A genuine passion for working in hospitality
