About the Role
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager for W Edinburgh and SUSHISAMBA, you will be the key point of contact for guests while they dine in the restaurant, ensuring they have the best possible experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Have a detailed knowledge of the food and beverage on offer in SUSHISAMBA
- Be proactive in learning about our menus and the culture of the places they have been inspired by
- Take food and drink orders and answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
- Ensure guests enjoy their time with us, checking back for satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silver throughout the day
- Restock items
- Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments
- Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
- Work as a team with the rest of the SUSHISAMBA team, supporting wherever necessary as directed by your manager
