W Edinburgh brings exciting new culinary destinations to the capital of Scotland. Situated on the 10th and 11th floors of the hotel, the spaces offer unrivalled panoramic views across the city, making it one of the most beautiful places in Edinburgh to dine. Our signature restaurant is a partnership with SUSHISAMBA, which celebrates the culture and cuisine of Japan, Brazil and Peru. The menus are a mix of new and signature dishes with an emphasis on bold flavours, the finest ingredients and artful presentations. W Lounge is W Edinburgh’s social hub for guests and locals alike, showcasing the best of Gaelic produce in its food offering, complemented with innovative beverage concepts.

Joining the team means you will be instrumental to the success of the hotel and the restaurant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking, eager to learn and committed to excellence!

Responsibilities:
  • Work in partnership with the Kitchen’s leadership team to recruit, train and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Develop a supportive and nurturing atmosphere within the team.
  • Assist in developing new menu items.
  • Take responsibility for sections of the kitchen.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating culinary excellence and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to our high standards.
