W Edinburgh is hiring a Waiter/ress to join Room Service as part of the team. This role plays an integral part in delivering the unique W brand experience to guests, serving food and drinks in their rooms and ensuring a comfortable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure food and drinks are perfectly presented before serving to guests
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in their rooms
- Answer questions about menu selection, food preparation, modifications and allergens
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silverware before serving to guests
- Restock items
- Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments on service
- Follow health and safety guidelines and policies and report accidents and injuries
