About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Group & Event Sales Executive will support the Sales management team across both group and event business to ensure the team achieves its revenue goals while delivering 5-star service to guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Banquet Event Orders and Group resumes as directed.
  • Enter and maintain guest information in Opera.
  • Maintain and update the function space diary as required.
  • Communicate with guests via email, telephone and in-person.
  • Conduct hotel show rounds with prospective and current clients.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Liaise with Revenue to obtain bedroom rate quotes.
  • Liaise with the operational beverage and food teams to ensure guest requests are met.

Qualifications

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Sophisticated communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience working in the five-star, luxury hotel and/or events market.
  • A positive mindset.
  • A genuine passion for the role.
