About The Role
Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager at SUSHISAMBA, as a Breakfast Waiter/ress you will be the key link between the Kitchen and our guests on the floor, ensuring they receive their meals in a timely fashion and answering any questions they may have about the dishes. We are looking for someone who is motivated, has an eye for detail, and would love to develop their hospitality skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all guests receive a warm, personalized welcome
- Recognising regular guests by name
- Take food and drink orders and answer any questions on the menu selection, including how food has been prepared, any modifications that can be made, and what allergens are present
- Ensure guests enjoy their time with us, checking back for satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding questions, length of wait, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass and silver throughout the day
- Restock items
- Present physical and accurate check to guests and process payments
- Follow health and safety guidelines and policies to report accidents and injuries
- Work as a team with the rest of the SUSHISAMBA team, supporting wherever necessary as directed by your manager
