W Glen Ltd is a soft fruit farm based just outside Perth, we are looking for hard‑working individuals to harvest our fruit. This position is labour‑intensive; some days may depend on the weather, and your day may start as early as 5.00 am to avoid the heat inside the polytunnels. An earlier finish on these days will apply.
The successful candidate will be given 2 weeks training. We expect specified picking rates and any worker will be required to maintain these. If any worker cannot maintain these rates, we reserve the right to terminate your employment.
Our season will start in early May and end around October, depending on orders received from our customers. You will be paid in line with the Agricultural Wages Order Scotland. The rate of pay is currently £12.71, and overtime, where applicable, will be paid at 1.5 times the basic rate.
