Are you an experienced UK commercial insurance professional with an in-depth knowledge of the core classes of business and the carrier marketplace too? W Denis seek a Senior Corporate Broker located in Leeds. This would be an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and tenacious individual who enjoys both handling and broking their own accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pre-renewal documentation and renewal reports for Account Executives
  • Handle all broking activities for your allocated client book
  • Access to an extensive number of markets
  • Manage trading relationships with insurers

How this opportunity is different

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a successful, innovative and dynamic team and to become involved in some diverse, large, commercial, UK, European and Global insurance programs. Working from our new Leeds Head Quarters, you’ll be responsible for the placement and handling of a wide range of core-commercial risks. W Denis are one of only a handful of independent brokers located outside of London. We are also a fully accredited Lloyd’s broker with direct access to the world-renowned Lloyd’s market.

Skills and Experience Required

  • A detailed knowledge of commercial insurance market practices & dynamics
  • Multi-class specialisms ideal
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the insurance industry
  • An effective listener and an eloquent communicator
  • Acts with the highest integrity and to professional standard
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask, work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Good IT skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Hybrid working available, with the opportunity to work from home on Mondays & Fridays if required. 25 days annual leave, 1 bonus day leave for your birthday, and the opportunity to buy or sell annual leave days.
