W Denis is seeking a Business Development professional to join our team at our Limassol office in Cyprus. As one of the leading independent international insurance brokers – and a fully accredited Lloyd’s Broker – W Denis offers a unique platform to develop your career in a high-performing, collaborative environment.

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients through business analysis and research and building new client relationships to generate new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Sales team to create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives. Continuously monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update a sales pipeline, tracking all sales activities and providing accurate forecasts to management.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company. Maintain thorough and accurate records of all sales activities, including contact information, sales calls, and opportunities.
  • Company Representation: Attend conferences, networking events, and client meetings to promote the firm’s risk mitigation services.
  • Willingness to Travel: As the role requires close co-operation with the UK headquarters, there would be occasional trips to the London office.

Fluent in English and Greek in both written and verbal communication.

  • ~2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance industry preferred.
  • ~ Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • ~ Ability to analyse market trends and develop strategic business plans.
  • ~ License of conducting general insurance business by the Insurance Institute of Cyprus is a plus.
  • ~ Knowledge of the European legal or business environment is a plus.
  • ~ Knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus.
  • ~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • ~ Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
