We’re looking for an organised, proactive and detail-focused Trade Credit Administrator to join our Trade Credit Insurance team in Leeds City Centre on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and coordination skills.
The Role
You’ll provide essential administrative and operational support to the Trade Credit team, helping to manage policy administration and ensure accurate and efficient processing of insurance documentation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting new business including data cleansing, renewals, mid-term adjustments and cancellations
- Checking policy documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Preparing Credit Risk Questionnaires and renewal documentation
- Maintaining accurate diaries and monitoring key policy deadlines
- Requesting missing information and declarations from clients as required
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets and client documentation
- Updating CRM and client records
- Liaising with insurers regarding policy documentation and administration
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks across new business and renewals
- Ensuring records meet company procedures and FCA requirements
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised and methodical
- Exceptionally accurate with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicating with internal teams, clients and insurers
- Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Proactive and comfortable working independently
- A strong team player with a detail-focused administrative approach
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
Previous administration experience is essential, ideally within insurance, financial services or professional services. Experience in trade credit insurance, commercial insurance or insurance broking would be advantageous.
