W Christie (Ind) Ltd are a manufacturer and supplier of torque tooling and bespoke engineered solutions supplying into a range of key UK industries, including Oil. You will use your knowledge of the Engineering sector, and the capabilities of W. Christie, to win business by developing and maintaining a pipeline of business opportunities.
Role Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality, technically accurate, application analysis in support of client projects
- Understand and be able to sell innovative solutions
- Understand engineering market needs and translate these into areas of opportunity for W. Christie
- Develop and maintain a strong client network and key client relationships
- Collaborate with relevant internal functions to ensure W. Christie’s design offerings demonstrate compliance to technical requirements
- Attend design review meetings and provide accurate site details to assist the design process
- Provide technical bid submissions
Your Skills and Experience:
- 5 or more years hands on professional engineering experience
- Engineering qualification(s)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Proven track record of applying technical knowledge and a broad understanding of a range of industries
- The ability to accurately assess site restrictions, take and document measurements, and report your findings
- Good business awareness and an understanding of commercial issues
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of dealing with clients
- Calm and diplomatic mindset
Desirable Experience:
- Design engineering experience would be advantageous
Your Location:
Applicants for the role should currently reside in either the West or the South of the UK. Due to the nature of the role and the travelling involved we will not consider applications from anyone who does not reside in either the West or the South of the UK. In addition, there will be periodic visits required to our Rotherham offices.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
