Event Logistics & Installation Specialist Location: Amersham. WA Carr & Son is a fast‑growing event supply company based in the Three Counties, delivering marquees, furniture, mobile bars, stretch tents, tableware, and staging. We are seeking a proactive team player who will take ownership of their role and grow with the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Event Setup & Logistics – Picking, loading, delivering, and installing equipment at high‑profile venues.
  • Marquee Design & Construction – Building and designing structures that impress.
  • Hands‑On Carpentry & Maintenance – Performing basic repairs, custom builds, and modifications for marquees, furniture, and other event structures.
  • Warehouse Work – Organising stock and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Driving & Transport – Operating 3.5t+ vans and pickups with trailers.
  • On‑Site Client Interaction – Communicating professionally with clients to maintain high service standards.
  • Quality Control – Ensuring equipment is delivered in pristine condition and meets company standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Age 25 or over (due to fleet insurance requirements).
  • Comfortable with hands‑on work including basic carpentry, maintenance, lifting, and assembling marquees/furniture.
  • Attention to detail – no cutting corners.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Experience in events, logistics, or construction (preferred but not essential).
  • Flexibility – start times 7–8 AM, weekend work availability on a rota system.
  • A team player who wants to be part of something bigger.
