Project Forwarder in Hounslow

Hounslow Full-Time No home office possible

Securing bookings with carriers (airlines, hauliers, etc.)
Entering jobs into the Cargowise system in accordance with the guidelines
Handling all aspects of customs clearance, including arranging declarations in-house or via a broker, carnet runs, and monitoring with the carrier
Monitoring shipments (post‑flight, delivery status, driver info, arrivals, clearance, etc.) and updating the client/account manager as required
Ensuring job costs are kept up to date and loaded into Cargowise as soon as possible
Preparation of customs documents, ATA Carnets, COOs, etc.
Reporting regularly to the Manager at key stages of the project
Assisting with organizing and delivering logistical aspects of a tour/event
Ensuring Warehouse and Project Manager are aware of any transport and warehousing requirements (e.g., freight builds for exports, goods inbound/outbound, import breakdowns, airline and client site collection/delivery, etc.)
Liaising with overseas agents/other offices for movements into/out of their territories for any assigned project
Ensuring successful completion of each tour/event/project assigned to you
Producing small transport/logistical budgets
Negotiating costs with service providers
Preparing and sending quotes to customers when instructed
Providing full customer support for any job/project assigned to you
