An exciting new position is available at Heathrow for a dynamic, rapidly expanding forwarder in the Import Freight account management area. The successful candidate will have a freight forwarding import & Customs background; cross‑training will be provided in the required areas/modes. Excellent client interaction skills and commercial awareness are essential.
Employment Terms
- The company is offering a base salary between £35,000-£40,000 (negotiable depending on level of experience).
- General hours: Monday to Friday 09:00‑17:30 hrs (some flexibility when required).
- Hybrid opportunity post probation.

Responsibilities
- Work to strict deadlines to co‑ordinate worldwide multimodal imports with end‑to‑end responsibility (liaising with overseas agents, airlines, transport providers and customers until point of delivery).
- Strong customer relationships to understand requirements and always deliver excellent customer service.
- Processing relevant import or export documentation including Customs entries using ASM Sequoia.
- Liaising effectively and building closer relationships with our supply chain including shippers, importers, agents and clients.
- Quotations, pricing and invoicing clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a start‑to‑finish role in either Air Freight Imports and/or exports.
- Customs entry experience.
- Customer service – excellent telephone manner and English communication skills (verbal & written).
- Computer literate – good level on Microsoft Word/Excel.
- In‑house systems – use of CargoWise One is considered an advantage.
