  • To collaborate closely with the R&D and Manufacturing departments to support all machining related activities, giving appropriate feedback to improve component manufacturability.
  • Ensure the quality of components produced meet the manufacturing drawing requirements by using appropriate metrology tools to validate tolerances and finishes.
  • Program to ensure machines are running to their maximum potential/efficiency.
  • To ensure appropriate work holding and machining techniques and procedures are followed when the component is handed over to production operators.
  • In collaboration with machine operators, carry out preventative maintenance routines.
