Your New Role
We are recruiting for a Data Centre Technician to provide customer support, ensuring service levels are maintained and ticketing is up to date within the data centre environment.
Responsibilities
- Install server, network, and storage hardware with cabling/patching.
- Perform cabling/patching of copper and fibre for various client requirements.
- Decommission hardware, coordinate with couriers for shipping.
- Perform remote hands duties such as power cycling, hardware replacement, and testing cabling.
- Audit cabling and hardware, produce documentation.
Requirements
- Must meet SC and BPSS security clearance requirements.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK Driving License and personal car.
- Logical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
