Role Overview
Vyrao is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Production Assistant to support the production and operations process. This role plays a key part in coordinating materials & components, managing critical path and suppliers to ensure our products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has previous production experience in the beauty industry and is proactive, methodical, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage critical path
- Responsible for the creation & maintenance of products on the system
- Track costs & margins
- Manage supplier relationships
- Responsible for all componentry and material ordering
- Responsible for all componentry and material stock on hand
- Manage production inventory in and out between suppliers
- Help track stock levels and report any discrepancies
- Assist with basic production scheduling and documentation
General Administration
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the NPD, production, commercial and operations teams
- Help prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documents
- Manage filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support supplier and internal communications
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in production & manufacturing
- Experience using inventory/ERP systems
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using spreadsheets and office software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Any experience in administration, operations, or production (including internships or placements)
- Basic knowledge of inventory or stock systems (training will be provided)
- Confidence using spreadsheets (e.g. Excel or Google Sheets)
- Understanding of inventory control or stock management processes
- Experience working in a small, fast-growing business
