Product Design at Vypr
Our in-house product team works in small, multidisciplinary teams designing and building features using the Shape Up methodology.
This gives us the autonomy to work in whatever way best achieves our goals, with design playing a central role in shaping direction, not just executing it.
About The Role
This role sits within Product in one of our three established feature teams and takes us to a total of 5 designers at Vypr.
We're making it our own but we've been following Basecamp's shapeup methodology and working to a 6 week delivery cadence.
As Senior Product Designer you'll lead on design in the 'Customer Delight' team.
The work is interesting and varied: you'll be tackling new features, defining design standards and patterns and contributing to our component library work closely with product managers and engineers to turn shape and delivery features and with subject matter experts and customer research to keep decisions grounded in real user needs.

- Your Experience
- You have worked in an agile product team as a UX designer, UI designer, interaction designer, designer or product designer.
- You are used to delivering value to users regularly through iterative releases. Even better if you've worked with Shape Up before
- You have designed for websites and apps and have a good grasp of the nuances between different platforms
- You're comfortable talking to users and are knowledgeable about user research best practice
- You have good command of UX design, visual design and service design and can move in and out of detail comfortably
- You're comfortable working alongside a content designer to ensure product and content decisions stay aligned.
