Role Overview
As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will be central to ensuring our Finance department's systems are functional, efficient, and evolving. You will provide technical and administrative support, investigate system issues, and document processes to maintain optimal performance and appropriate controls. Partnering closely with finance end-users, IT teams and external suppliers, you will manage system access, resolve queries and support infrastructure needs. You will also support our Finance transformation project, working with the latest Microsoft and Snowflake technologies, assisting in implementing a new ERP system and Finance Data Mart as we build a genuinely world-class department.
Job Details
- Undertaking core BAU duties that support operation of a finance department, including administering access to systems, month-end activities, and maintaining appropriate controls across our estate.
- Working closely across Finance teams, IT and 3rd party suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of end-user issues and queries.
- Assisting the finance team with UAT and sharing best practices.
- Assisting with the initial configuration of new systems and acting as a key contributor for the development of additional capabilities within the systems.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Knowledge of database technologies e.g. SQL/Snowflake.
- Previous experience of Workday Finance is essential.
- High level of accuracy with the ability to reconcile large volumes of data.
- Able to explain technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills β ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Strong communication, listening and influencing skills (both internal and external).
