The opportunity
We are seeking a corporate lawyer with at least two years of post‑qualified experience, typically at solicitor or associate level. The role will involve the full spectrum of corporate work you are accustomed to—most notably M&A—while offering the chance to work with clients in the education sector, a field we are nationally ranked for by Chambers and Partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse range of corporate transactions, primarily M&A.
- Provide high‑profile professional and technical support to senior leadership at education sector clients.
- Maintain consistent and steady workflow, ensuring high‑quality deliverables across all matters.
- Collaborate across teams to support cross‑referral opportunities and client needs.
About you
You are a passionate corporate lawyer with strong transactional skills and, ideally, experience or a keen interest in the education sector. You communicate with clarity, demonstrate integrity, and thrive in an environment where your work matters.
Where will I be working?
The role can be aligned to any of our offices—Bristol, Birmingham, London or Watford—but we encourage working primarily from one site each week to benefit from our culture and cross‑referral opportunities. Hybrid arrangements can be discussed on a case‑by‑case basis.
