As our firm continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced and commercially focused Business Development Manager to support the firm's strategic growth objectives and play a key role in strengthening client relationships, developing new business opportunities and increasing market engagement across the firm. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and forward-thinking Business Development team, working closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
- Identify and support growth opportunities across sectors, services and key clients
- Develop and maintain targeted business development and key account plans
- Support pitches, proposals and other new business opportunities
- Maintain pipeline information and contribute to reporting on activity and outcomes
- Build relationships with intermediaries, referrers and key external contacts
- Attend events and networking opportunities to raise profile and stay close to market trends
You'll support activity across the firm's sectors, products, VWV Approach network and wider strategic initiatives, helping to enhance client engagement, deepen relationships and increase market visibility.
Qualifications
- We're looking for an experienced and relationship-focused Business Development professional with a proven track record of supporting business growth and building strong client relationships.
- Experience in business development, sales or client relationship management
- A track record of identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Experience of managing pipelines and reporting activity
- Strong communication and commercial awareness
- Experience within professional services is essential, and/or legal is desirable.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sales & Marketing or a related field would also be an advantage.
Location
This role can be based in London, Watford, Birmingham or Bristol. We're open to hiring in any of these office locations depending on candidate fit and team alignment.
